About

About the Calgary Confederation Conservative EDA

Welcome to the Calgary Confederation Conservative Association Website. Our Association is a strong, active group of volunteers who are promoting the Conservative Party of Canada in the Electoral District of Calgary Confederation.

Our over-riding mission is two-fold:

  • To re-elect our MP, Len Webber
  • To help elect a Conservative Government in Ottawa

Our Association is run by a Board of Directors who are elected annually by Members of the Conservative Party of Canada and living within the boundaries of Calgary Confederation. These volunteers are guided by our Constitution with an objective of supporting the Principles, Policies and Objectives of our Party.

Our activities include:

  • Preparing for the next election; we are always ready!
  • Fundraising to ensure we have the war chest to finance the next Federal Election Campaign of our Candidate.
  • Organizing Events to promote our MP and provide opportunities for him to meet members of our Communities.
  • Actively recruiting new members and volunteers.
  • Identifying supporters.
  • Encouraging the participation and recruitment of youth.
  • Communicating effectively with our Members, supporters and the community.
  • Facilitating an ongoing Policy discussion and development process within the Party.

We encourage every Member of the Board to be involved in at least one Committee:

  • Election Readiness
  • Fundraising
  • Events
  • Communications
  • Human Resources
  • Policy Development

If you are interested in volunteering and participating on any of these committees, please contact us.
